Project: Work with CI, area supervisors, team leads and operators to implement one piece flow, create standard work for all operations within the cells, partner with Additive manufacturing to design fixtures as needed in each department. Manufacturing Continuous Improvement work includes:
SUMMARY Highly motivated and self-directed individuals. Works closely with employees to drive a culture of continuous improvement and problem solving utilizing the lean and six sigma tools and methodologies. Aide manager in positively leads change and improvement towards strategic objectives through facilitation and training of teams and individuals. Monitors teams' progress and supports as necessary, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Works with Continuous Improvement Lead (CI manager) to set goals based on customer and business needs. Must be able to manage and interact effectively with diverse groups and personalities. Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Must have strong written and presentation skills. Coordinates mapping of value streams in order to develop improvement targets. Directs continual improvement team efforts. You may be asked to facilitates team meetings and kaizen events. Support and positively drives 5S improvements. Inspires a culture of change and improvement.
