Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator for the department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Performs a wide variety of general administrative services, quality assurance and faculty affairs support to the Office of the OB/
GYN Department Chair, including data analysis for
RWJUH Peer Improvement/Peer Review (PI/PR),
RWJUH mandatory Mortality & Morbidity (M&M) review, coordination of Grand Rounds series, website updates, faculty affairs support, various department meeting coordination and overall office operations organization under the supervision of the Program Administrator. Under the direction of the Program Administrator, additional responsibilities include, special projects support including research and modeling of various options, and outreach to and liaison with stakeholders within and external to the department. Assist in the review, analysis and appraisal of current department administrative procedures, organization and performance measures and helps to prepare recommendations for changes and/or revisions. Assists with preparation and distribution of monthly reports. Facilitates development of business plans by assisting with preparation of relevant statistics. Makes recommendation to standardize processes. Assists with internal department audit processes. Utilizes computer systems and software to manage records and data. Assists with Special Projects including development, implementation and report/evaluation of project.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Provides high-level day-to-day administrative support for the under the direction of the Program Administrator.. This includes but is not limited to proactive engagement, research and anticipation of project needs, special projects support including research and modeling of various strategic options, and outreach to and liaison with stakeholders within and external to the University.
- Assists in the review, analysis and appraisal of administrative procedures, organization and performance measures and helps to prepare recommendations for changes and/or revisions.
- Assists with preparation and distribution of monthly reports. Assists in developing, preparing and executing plans of organization, and methods. Assists in development and implementation of reporting systems for assessing performance, including workload volume, backlog, revenue and expenditures. Helps develop and manage internal audit processes.
- Responsible for providing administrative and staff support for the department. Communicates, prepares and executes assignments and tasks requiring information gathering, data entry/retrieval, and database maintenance.
- Receives and appropriately handles incoming correspondence, schedules and prepares various department meetings, and responds to inquiries. Maintains essential records and assists in the maintenance of all activity files.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's Degree, plus at least two (2) years of professional level experience in a business office, government agency, or university setting.
- Previous experience in data and research analysis.
- Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the educational requirements.
