The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary The Department of Surgery is seeking a Research Associate to assist with aortic surgery research. The individual will develop novel aortic therapies based on clinical outcome studies and advance imaging analysis. In particular, the individual will be trained in advance in biostatistics and imaging-based blood flow analysis. We seek a highly motivated, meticulous, and organized individual who can develop and pursue his/her own innovative ideas, while working in collaboration with other lab members and outside collaborators. Responsibilities
Additional responsibilities include academic research, (participation in clinical and/or basic research) in accordance with our compliance and excellence in quality care programs, to include active participation in the education of research fellows, residents and medical students. Responsibilities include participation in the academic and research missions of the University and the Department of Surgery. Minimum Qualifications
