The Clinical Supervisor of Speech, Voice and Swallowing Service is a Speech and Language Pathologist with an unrestricted license to practice Speech and Language Pathology from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, who has a minimum of five clinical experience with acute care, medically based speech pathology services. In addition to providing speech and language pathology evaluations and interventions that are consistent with accepted Standards of Practice of the profession to appropriately referred patients, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction to the service. This includes but is not limited to, supervision of staff, development of practice standards, quality improvement activities, competency assurance, regulatory compliance and program development. The position reports to the Executive Director of Rehabilitation Services.

Master's Degree Speech Language Pathology required

Speech-language Pathologist [State License]

Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology [CCC-SLP]

Experience
4-5 years clinical experience as a speech-language pathologist

Previous experience in a leadership role preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy principles, techniques, and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively lead and manage a team.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for documentation and scheduling.
