Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer (SETA) to join our team of technical and business experts providing operational and mission support to a SI/SETA mission for a classified customer in McLean, Virginia. In this role you will be responsible for supporting our clients, meet their mission goals and strategic objectives by providing high-quality Systems Engineering and technical leadership expertise for design, development, evaluation of end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their full development and operational life cycle. The role requires a strong background in systems engineering, with specific knowledge of networking and Linux to enable data flow between a variety of hardware devices. Excellent organizational and communication skills is necessary. Our unique team of technical and business disciplines provide operational support for Systems Engineering/Integration, Mission Planning, and Business Operations to multiple functional mission areas. The team is responsible for technical design, operations, mission planning and business operations for the full life cycle of customer specific operations with a concentration of operations and maintenance activities. The Senior Systems Engineer (SETA) will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
Operate and maintain multiple customer systems with varying footprints and use cases.

Target Salary Range $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
