We are seeking a Proofer Operator to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Proofer Operator, you will be accountable for ensuring dough quality and process control throughout the proofing and baking stages to deliver consistent, high-quality products.

• Shift: 3rd
• Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Weekend Availability: Required

• Hourly Rate: $18 per hour

• Monitor units on proofer plates to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Assist Oven Operator in maintaining process control of proof box and oven.
• Verify dough batch time and texture to ensure proper development through the system.
• Set and monitor process line control parameters to maintain product specifications.
• Maintain awareness of daily production shift schedule and line capacity.
• Perform general sanitation of proofer workstation and oven areas.
• Adhere to Lockout/Tagout procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to define and resolve issues.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to write clearly and legibly.
• Physical ability to work in a bakery environment and perform sanitation tasks.

• Previous experience in a bakery or food manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with process control systems.
• Knowledge of GMP and safety procedures.
