The Financial Analyst Intern provides support and analysis to the Program Management team as well as the Finance team on related financial information throughout the execution of the program or project. This individual will assist the department with budget analysis and maintenance, department goals, forecasting and other projects as required.

Position Responsibilities:

* Provide initial project budget data and maintain the project budget through the change management process of the project

* Assist with program estimates to complete (EAC) including detailed investigations and analysis of financial data

* Assist with the preparation of requests for equitable adjustments (REAs); and follow-on due diligence requests from customers

* Assist with project financial forecast during budget planning activities

* Assist with cost collection and pricing strategies for Sechan's Product Sustainment's (SPS) department

* Assist with PM department management by monitoring the department's monthly financial results compared to budget, maintaining PM man-load data, and reporting department metrics

* Participate on process improvements initiatives related to financial impacts as assigned

* Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization.

Skills & Abilities:

* Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

* Ability to self-manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

* Interact effectively with people from various functional groups of both internal colleagues and external customers.

* Meticulous attention to detail on the accuracy and presentation of the products of your work prior to distribution or publication.

* Demonstrates organized and professional written and verbal communication skills.

* Desire and ability to learn through strong interpersonal skills including flexible, analytical, and collaborative.

Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled in a 4 year college or university working towards a major in Finance, business or accounting.

Work Environment:

* Office Environment: Requires physical capability to work in an office environment including sit/stand up to 9 hours a day and use basic office tools such as a computer, copier/printer, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

* Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday; Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with additional hours as needed to meet demand. Occasional off-shift hours may also be required to provide support to operations.

* 9/80 work schedule.

* Office located in Lititz, PA.
