Your Job The Dryer Reliability Leader role at the Leaf River Cellulose Mill in New Augusta, MS is responsible for supporting the area's reliability, efficiency, and production improvements through asset strategy development, root cause analysis, outage scope management, asset health and condition monitoring, and strategic investment. This role is also a key leader for the Dryer department and accountable for the team's objectives associated with Environmental, Safety, Quality, culture, personnel while ensuring alignment with the company's management philosophy, Principle Based Management (MBM). This role will supervise a team of reliability engineers in the area and working with them to establish and drive key reliability initiatives focused on driving improvement. The team is responsible for developing tactical and strategic improvement plans targeting known gaps as identified by the team through asset strategy development, investment, and maintenance repair through area and annual outage planning cycles. Our Team Leaf River is a non-union facility in South Mississippi, just 20 miles from Hattiesburg, with a dedicated workforce of about 320 employees. For 40 years, the Leaf River team has focused on producing top-quality chemical cellulose, custom fibers, and nonwoven materials for products like diapers, baby wipes, and coffee filters. What You Will Do * Lead and direct the work of the area reliability team. * Develop and mentor reliability engineers within the area and central team * Collaborate with the central mill reliability team to develop and execute strategic reliability initiatives. * Work closely with the Area Leader to develop and execute reliability improvement plans focused on known and understood gaps within the area. * Consistently apply the PBM, Guiding Principles and Decision-making Framework with the manufacturing and support teams. * Effectively support the mill vision in the development and execution of reliability plans. * Develop and critique outage planning processes, defines outage scope, and aids in the execution and tracking of outage workloads. Work with others to improve the outage processes. * Helps develop strategic investment portfolio for the area based on performance gaps and ensure projects are initiative to help support the area plans. * Monitor and engage team with support systems such as PHA, MOC, Trax, and Incident review * Get involved tactically with upset conditions and failures to drive RCA work through the team * Monitor and assess reliability performance, build reports, and scorecards that help communicate and connect the team to the issues and improvement work. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Experience in operations, maintenance, or Reliability in a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Experience in a pulp or paper mill in an engineering, planning, or top operator position in a Paper Machine operational department * Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) What Will Put You Ahead * Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field of study * Supervisory experience in an industrial Ops, Maint., Reliability, or Engineering role * Experience in utilities, recaust, evaporators, or wastewater treatment area * Project, process, or reliability engineering experience At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
