What are we looking for?

For our specialized team, we are looking for an Application Operations Manager for the bank's Client Lifecycle Management system, you will be the key expert for Level 3 application support, ensuring consistent and accurate service delivery.

Hybrid position in Madrid (3 days at clients office, Sol area, next to the underground).

Responsibilities

Your focus is on maintaining and optimizing the solution, managing incidents and problems, and ensuring operational readiness.

You will work in an agile organization, supporting multi-tier applications and performing root cause analysis. This requires strong experience with database concepts (PL/SQL, SQL) for troubleshooting, as well as basic Java understanding and Linux/Unix administration skills for tasks such as navigating file systems, analyzing logs, and managing configurations.

You will collaborate closely with application users, IT Service Owners, and other stakeholders to guarantee smooth operations and high availability.

Competencies ( 5 years experience)

• Proven experience in Level 3 application support within an agile organization
• Strong understanding of database development concepts (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) for troubleshooting
• Banking knowledge in CRM, account opening, and compliance is must
• Basic Java knowledge for application-level analysis
• Solid Linux/Unix administration skills for operational tasks (logs, scripts, navigation)
• Experience in Release and Product Lifecycle Management
• Familiarity with operating standard software and parameterization
• Good command of English
• Nice-to-have skills:




• Agile methodology experience
• German language skills (optional)
