Acara Solutions is seeking a Program Manager III to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity available in Hauppauge NY
Salary: 110,832 - $138,540 annually

Position Overview
The Program Manager III is responsible for managing the overall execution of medium to complex programs. This role coordinates cross-functional project teams, oversees schedules and deliverables, manages risks, and ensures alignment with organizational goals. The Program Manager serves as a key point of contact for stakeholders and customers, providing clear communication and reporting throughout the program lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all project deliverables and timelines are met
  • Review and coordinate project schedules with functional managers and project coordinators
  • Support program delivery processes and cross-functional collaboration
  • Track and report on program accomplishments, deliverables, milestones, and performance drivers
  • Coordinate multiple projects within a program to ensure objectives are achieved
  • Administer project risk management processes and develop risk mitigation plans
  • Communicate project status clearly and accurately to stakeholders and leadership
  • Serve as a primary liaison with customers and internal project teams
  • Lead and facilitate project and program review meetings
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience managing medium to complex programs
  • Strong knowledge of program management standards, methodologies, and best practices
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with space systems programs
  • Experience with CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) and silicon development programs
  • Experience managing programs using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
