Your Title: Account Executive, Mid-Market Customer Base (MEP Vertical)
Your Location: Remote, US - East
Our Division: AECO
Are you a high-energy sales strategist who thrives at the intersection of technology and the built environment? Trimble is looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our AECO team, focusing specifically on our valued Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) customer base in the Eastern US.
In this role, you aren't just selling software; you are a digital transformation partner for some of the most influential sub-contractors in the industry. You will own the relationship with existing customers, identifying opportunities to expand their Trimble portfolio and solve complex workflow challenges with our industry-leading SaaS solutions.
What You Will Do
  • Drive Strategic Expansion: Own a dedicated territory of MEP accounts within the Mid-Market segment, focusing on upsell, cross-sell, and portfolio expansion.
  • Master the Workflow: Deeply understand the MEP lifecycle-from estimating and design to fabrication and field execution-to ERP, while uncovering critical business needs and workflow gaps.
  • Lead the Sales Cycle: Manage the end-to-end buying process, from initial discovery and pipeline building to complex negotiations and closing.
  • Collaborate for Success: Act as the "quarterback" for your accounts, partnering with Product Sales Executives and Sales Engineering teams to deliver high-impact demonstrations and technical proof-of-concepts.
  • Territory Planning: Research and execute long-range territory plans that ensure consistent quota attainment and long-term customer health.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends and product enhancements to act as a subject matter expert for your clients.
What You Should Bring
  • Proven Performance: 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding an annual quota of $1M+.
  • Industry Expertise: Direct experience in the construction industry or selling construction-tech (AECO) is highly preferred. Familiarity with MEP workflows is a significant plus.
  • Consultative Selling: Mastery of modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, or Gap Selling) with the ability to navigate multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to comfortably discuss cloud integrations, BIM, and data-driven construction workflows.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to command a room-from the job site trailer to the C-suite.
  • Operational Discipline: High proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Google Workspace for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Travel: Ability to travel within the Eastern US up to 50% as needed (average 20%) to build face-to-face relationships.
