Position Summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Project Management Lead to oversee a team of professional project managers on the Boeing account. This M1-level leadership position requires a seasoned professional to manage a team of Small Works Project Managers while driving strategic project delivery for one of the world's leading aerospace companies. The successful candidate will provide leadership, mentorship, and operational oversight for projects ranging from small-scale maintenance to large complex initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

Lead and mentor a team of Small Works Project Managers, providing strategic direction, performance coaching, and professional development opportunities. Establish clear performance expectations, conduct regular one-on-one meetings, and manage annual performance reviews. Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes innovation, continuous improvement, and exceptional client service delivery.

Strategic Project Portfolio Oversight

Oversee the small works Boeing project portfolio, including projects ranging from $1K small works to multi-million dollar initiatives when necessary. Implement standardized project management methodologies, ensuring consistent delivery of established approaches across all team members. Provide strategic guidance on resource allocation, project prioritization, and capacity planning to optimize team performance and client satisfaction.

Senior Client Relationship Management

Serve as a contact for Boeing facilities leadership, building and maintaining strategic relationships. Help provide content for quarterly business reviews, portfolio performance metrics, and collaborate on long-term facilities planning initiatives.

Budget & Financial Management

Manage multi-million dollar annual project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets while maximizing value delivery. Oversee budget planning processes, approve expenditures within delegation authority, and provide financial forecasting for executive reporting. Lead cost optimization initiatives and negotiate high-value vendor contracts and service agreements.

Quality Assurance & Risk Management

Maintain comprehensive quality control processes across all project activities. Utilize risk management frameworks, conduct regular project health assessments, and implement corrective action plans when necessary. Ensure all team deliverables meet Boeing's stringent quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements.

Strategic Planning & Business Development

Collaborate with Regional Lead on strategic account planning, identifying opportunities for service expansion and operational improvements. Lead proposal development for major project initiatives and participate in contract negotiations. Develop long-term workforce planning strategies to support Boeing's evolving facility requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related field required; MBA or relevant Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive project management experience with at least 3-5 years in leadership roles managing project management teams. Extensive experience in facilities management, construction, or capital improvement projects within large corporate environments.

Leadership Experience

Proven track record of successfully leading and developing project management teams of 5-15 professionals. Demonstrated experience in performance management, talent development, and organizational change management. History of building high-performing teams that consistently exceed client expectations and operational targets.

Technical Competencies

Expert-level proficiency with work order management systems, particularly Corrigo, including system administration and configuration management. Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP certification preferred) and enterprise project management software platforms. Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting at the portfolio level.

Industry Expertise

Deep understanding of facilities management operations, construction processes, and capital project delivery in complex industrial environments. Knowledge of aerospace industry standards, regulatory requirements, and operational constraints. Experience managing projects in highly regulated environments with stringent safety and security protocols.

Exceptional executive-level communication skills with the ability to present complex portfolio information to C-suite audiences. Strong executive presence with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organizational change. Experience facilitating strategic planning sessions and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Advanced analytical capabilities with proven ability to translate operational data into strategic insights and recommendations. Strong business acumen with understanding of P&L management, contract negotiations, and service delivery optimization. Experience in developing and implementing operational excellence initiatives.

Change Management & Innovation

Demonstrated ability to lead organizational transformation and process improvement initiatives. Track record of implementing new technologies, systems, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. Experience fostering innovation within teams while maintaining operational stability.

Relationship Management & Negotiation

Exceptional relationship-building skills with experience managing complex stakeholder environments. Strong negotiation capabilities with experience in high-value contract discussions and dispute resolution. Proven ability to build trust and credibility with senior client executives.

Working Conditions & Requirements

This position requires 100% on-site presence at Boeing facility, with regular travel to other Boeing locations as needed. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearances required by Boeing. Position may require occasional travel to other JLL accounts or corporate headquarters for strategic planning sessions and best practice sharing.
