Our client is looking for a Senior Production Designer with deep expertise in design systems, tokendriven UI, and high-fidelity web application interfaces. This role is execution-heavy: redlines, annotated specs, component application, and system-consistent UI layouts across complex internal tools. This person will be in the trenches with product designers, engineers, and the design system team, closing the designer to engineer gap through bulletproof production work. If they wake up thinking in tokens and Sketch symbols? That's our person.

WHAT YOU'LL DRIVE:

Redline & Production Excellence

  • Produce pixel-perfect redlines, measurements, states, and responsive rules, this is the primary deliverable of this role.
  • Translate high-fidelity design mocks into engineering-ready specs with zero ambiguity.

Design System Application

  • Apply existing system components and token architecture consistently across components.
  • Identify misalignments, fill systemic gaps, and propose refinements with the design system team.
  • Maintain system integrity across new features and refactored UI.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partners with lead production designer, product designers, front-end engineers, and the design system team.
  • Participate in QA validation, file bugs, and validate that UI matches specs down to the last pixel.

Web Application Production

  • Execute across complex internal web tooling: tables, forms, workflows, dashboards, and multistate interactive components.
  • Communicate effectively using HTML/CSS-based thinking for clear engineer handoff.

File & Library Management (Sketch)

  • Work exclusively in Sketch using symbols, shared libraries, naming conventions, overrides, and plugins.
  • Organize, clean, refactor, and maintain structured production files.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Core Production & Design System Expertise

  • Deep knowledge of design system architecture, tokens, component rules, and system governance.
  • Proven ability producing detailed redlines for engineering.
  • Experience contributing to or applying enterprise-level design systems (from docs to components to spec delivery).
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).

Tools & Craft

  • Master-level Sketch skills: libraries, symbol architecture, precision layouts.
  • Fluency in web UI/UX for data-heavy and workflow-heavy tools.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS to express layout, states, and responsive logic.

Partnership & Execution

  • Strong communicator who collaborates well with designers, engineers, design system partners.
  • Ability to juggle multiple production tracks simultaneously under tight timelines.
  • Proven success in fast-paced environments.
