Sr. Cloud Architect / Administrator

Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position:

• Responsibilities include designing cloud architectures and environments; supporting migration, integration, and optimization of enterprise applications and data; and administering cloud infrastructure and services across development, test, and production environments. The Cloud Architect / Administrator ensures cloud solutions comply with DoD, Army, and Federal cybersecurity requirements, including RMF and applicable security controls.
• Additional duties include managing cloud configurations, access controls, and monitoring; supporting automation, backup, and disaster recovery solutions; tracking cloud performance, availability, and cost metrics; and supporting interface and data integration across enterprise systems. The role supports development and review of cloud-related technical documentation, architectures, and standards and collaborates with systems engineers, cybersecurity personnel, developers, and program managers to support integration and sustainment activities.

Requirements (Years of experience, Education, Certifications):

• 10 years of experience designing, implementing, or administering cloud-based systems within a DoD, Federal, or large enterprise environment
• Demonstrated experience with:
  
  
  
  • Cloud architecture and administration (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar platforms)
  • Cloud migration and system integration
  • Identity and access management
  • Monitoring, logging, and performance management
  • Cloud security and compliance support
  
  
  
  
• Active TS/SCI Clearance required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Nice to Have (skills that are not required, but nice to have):

• Experience supporting enterprise transformation or digital modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with:
  
  
  
  • DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
