Job Description:

AnHR Systems Analystplays a pivotal role in maintaining Alliance Ground International's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This position ensures that HR processes run smoothly by providing technological support and managing data effectively. By leveraging their technical expertise, the HR Systems Analyst will help streamline HR operations, enhance data accuracy, and support strategic decision-making within the HR department. This role is crucial in integrating HR systems with other organizational platforms and implementing new HR technologies to keep the company competitive. The HR Systems Analyst will report directly to the HR Systems Manager.

Ideal candidates will have experience in data analysis for large data sets and Workday HCM configuration experience. Must be detail oriented, self-starter and a team player that can work with minimum supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer and Maintain HR Systems: its optimal performance by
    • Assisting with implementing biannual scheduled system upgrades.
    • Controlling user permissions and access within HR systems to maintain security.
    • Ensuring that all HR data is accurate, secure, and compliant with data privacy regulations.
    • Working with IT to ensure seamless integration between HR systems and other organizational platforms.
  • System Configuration and Troubleshooting:Configure system settings, perform updates, and resolve technical issues.
    • Analyzing HRIS performance metrics and resolving application issues.
    • Optimizing HRIS processes, integrating new software, and performing diagnostic tests.
    • Ensure accurate HRIS data via audits and mass upload data changes when high-volume transactions are required.
    • May be asked to complete training sessions to demonstrate new system features or refresh local users on systems best practice.
  • Reporting and Analytics:Generate comprehensive reports and analytics to support HR initiatives and organizational goals.
    • Review calculations and audit reports ensuring the accuracy of a payroll and absence mgmt. plans
    • Auditing HR processes and documents
    • Provide reports for other departments
  • Implementation of New Solutions:Identify and work with HR Operations team to implement new HR technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Performing system upgrades, as well as providing training and technical support.
    • Developing and implementing new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
  • Technical Support:Provide ongoing technical assistance to HR and operations team members.

  • Fully understand AGI Health & Safety and Security policies.
  • Attend training courses as may be required by AGI.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to occasionally lift / carry / push / pull and move items 10 pounds or more.
  • Must be able to use close vision and sit for long periods of time.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent Communication Skills - Must have exceptional ability to collaborate, provide technical support, and to train staff.
  • Customer Service Skills - Must have professional, courteous communication while resolving team member concerns.
  • Computer skills: Excellent Microsoft Suite skills are required, particularly Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, ability to work with large data and be able to interpret the data) . Experience in performing diagnostic tests and audits, as well as documenting processes.
  • Problem-solving skills: May be called upon to troubleshoot issues with the HRIS.
  • Time management skills: Must be able to manage their time effectively in order to complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • One year of experience as a data analyst or HR analyst is strongly preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, HR management, or similar is required.
  • HRIS experience is required; Workday experience is preferred.
  • If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.
