REQUIREMENTS:

* This position requires a High School diploma or equivalent.

* This position requires at least two years of experience in sewing, inspection, or quality control.

* Must be familiar with specifications, standards, tolerances, and fabric defects.

* Must have basic math skills with knowledge of fractions and know how to read a ruler.

* Must have experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, the internet, and email.

* Must be accurate in recording data.

* This position requires a high attention to detail

* This position requires demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others positively.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks.

* Ability to work overtime, including weekends when needed

* Must follow directions well

* Must have excellent communication skills and give direction to the quality team

* Must be able to communicate quality concerns to the corporate office

* Required to travel when needed

* Must be dependable with an "excellent" attendance record

* Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push cases up to 8 hrs.

* Must be able to lift 50 pounds

* Must wear all safety gear and follow safety rules

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the quality control functions within the distribution center.
  • Ensures the accuracy of shipped goods and reporting
  • Enters quality audit data daily
  • Position takes direction and accepts new responsibility as required
  • Preparing reports for management review
  • Reviewing the work of other auditors to ensure their work is accurate
  • This position is cross-trained in all areas at the DC.
    • Inbound shipments
    • QA customer orders
    • Customization
    • Outbound, etc.
  • Requires sound and logical decision-making with minimum supervision
  • Responsible for distinguishing shades and completing the Farnsworth-Munsell 100
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment that shows pride in Workwear Outfitters and is always worthy of sharing with visitors.
  • The associate will also perform other duties, as assigned.

HOURS: 1st shift hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required.
