Location: Reeseville, WI

Shift: 1st Shift


Job Summary:

The Quality Control Administrator oversees the Quality Control Technicians. This role will communicate schedules and coverage for internal audits, checks, and lab coverage.


Responsibilities:

* Monitor and oversee the quality control processes within the company.

* Ensure products meet or exceed established standards.

* Communicate directly with the third-party micro lab on product and environmental testing.

* Monitor and manage environmental monitoring supplies.

* Know how to prepare and submit samples for our Third Party micro lab.

* Communicate any out of specification results as quickly as possible to the required teammates and facilitate retests within house retains or additional sampling as needed.

* Develop, implement, audit, and maintain quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.

* Supervise and conduct inspections of materials, in process procedures, and finished goods to identify any deviations.

* Provide training and education to employees on quality control practices and procedures, ensuring all staff are familiar.

* Lead Orientation and Quality Communication Meetings as needed.

* Keep Quality Control Technicians training matrix up to date.

* Analyze quality data to identify trends in defects and formulate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

* Support any customer complaints as needed, facilitate any additional testing needed tied to a complaint.

* Work closely with other departments to address quality control issues and implement improvements.

* Maintain accurate records of defects, products, audits, customer complaints, ensuring proper documentation and reporting across departments.

* Conduct, schedule, and supervise internal audits and environmental monitoring system plans.

* Comply with all established GMP, SQF policies, housekeeping guidelines, housekeeping responsibilities and operating procedures.

* Complies with Food Safety and Food Quality objectives.

* Flexibility to adjust to shifts to work with employees from all shifts as required.

* Ability to back up QC Technicians as needed both in the lab and on the floor.

* Works overtime and occasional weekends as necessary.

* Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, or related field is preferred.

* 3+ years of food quality experience in an SQF or other GFSI scheme facility.

* 1+ years of supervising experience with a team of 3 or more.

* Bilingual preferred. (English and Spanish)

* Superior written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Experience developing and maintaining SOPs and standard work documentation.

* Ability to cultivate working relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while delivering the highest level of customer service.

* Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive decision-making.

* Demonstrated attention to details and problem-solving abilities.

* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, and Data Analytics skills

* Ability to use data to inform decision-making and evaluate success of improvement initiatives.

* Frequent standing & walking required

* Prolonged periods working on feet and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping

* Must be able to lift up to 25lbs

* Must be able to freely move around a multifloored facility
