Responsibilities

The Director of Capital Markets & Syndications is responsible for leading the origination, structuring, negotiation, and execution of club and syndicated finance transactions for corporate and real estate clients. This role involves working closely with internal relationship managers, credit teams, and external institutions to ensure optimal financing structures and successful deal execution while managing risk and maximizing profitability. The professional serves as a subject matter expert on market conditions, pricing, and capital structure advisory.



Qualifications

Requirements:

    Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • 7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, loan syndications, or corporate finance within the capital markets arena
  • Deep understanding of corporate finance principles, credit analysis, loan structuring, and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and market intelligence platforms such as Bloomberg or Dealogic is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferences:

  • Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) in related field
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or other professional certification
