Job Description Summary

Enterprise Housing Credit Investments is seeking a Senior Director on the Investor Relations team to manage investor relationships throughout the bid, approval, underwriting, and closing processes for low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) investments. Own the Investor Relations strategy and portfolio outcomes for assigned institutional investors across proprietary and multi-investor funds. Lead investor segmentation and annual planning; oversee bid authorization through closing, annual due diligence, and portfolio reviews; act as the executive escalation point for complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning: Build investor coverage plans and fundraising priorities; translate investor underwriting standards into placement strategy.
  • Relationship Leadership: Maintain senior-level relationships; negotiate business terms; articulate risks and mitigants with executive presence.
  • Transaction Execution: Oversee diligence checklists, partnership agreement negotiation, closing timelines, pricing decisions; approve final materials. Provide support to Managing Director on high volume investor relationships.
  • Governance & Reporting: Ensure accurate disclosure of strengths, risks, mitigants; steward pipeline and portfolio analytics.
  • Team Leadership: Coach Directors and Assistant Directors; lead annual investor meetings and portfolio reviews. May have direct report responsibilities.
  • Process & Risk Management: Identify and implement process improvements; standardize templates and SOPs; monitor data quality and control points.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and champion process improvements.
  • Represent Enterprise externally and develop talent across the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Urban Planning or related field.
  • 7+ years LIHTC underwriting and/or executing proprietary/multi-investor fund closings.
  • Deep understanding of LIHTC deal structuring and investor role.
  • Deep understanding of the business of syndicating housing credits and partnership fund management.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership; advanced Excel modeling; Salesforce familiarity preferred.
  • Must obtain or hold FINRA SIE, Series 22, and Series 63 licenses.
  • Travel: Up to ~20%.

The base salary for this role is $185,000 to $230,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
