STS Technical Services is hiring an experienced Helicopter Pilot (VFR / NVG) to support air medical operations based in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This role places pilots on the front line of emergency medical response, flying critical care missions that directly impact patient outcomes and save lives. Position Overview The Helicopter Pilot supports air medical transport missions under CAMTS guidelines. Pilots conduct day and night missions and are responsible for the safe, compliant execution of all assigned flights while maintaining strict adherence to company procedures and safety management systems. About the Operation Air medical transport operating under CAMTS guidelines Aircraft type: AS350B3e VFR and NVG operations Instrument rating required Twenty four hour operations with day and night rotation Community focused mission with a strong safety culture Housing is not provided Key Responsibilities Perform line pilot duties in accordance with the General Operations Manual Conduct safe and efficient day and night air medical missions Support Safety Management System initiatives and company safety campaigns Assist with patient and equipment loading and unloading as required Participate in community outreach activities Deliver professional and courteous service to internal and external customers Compensation & Benefits Sign on bonus up to $100,000 Competitive base compensation Shift bonuses and shift incentives Annual safety bonus Annual employee bonus Comprehensive benefits package Minimum Qualifications Commercial Helicopter Rating Instrument Helicopter Rating First Class Medical Certificate Meet CAMTS minimum flight time requirements: 2,000 total flight hours 1,500 helicopter hours 1,000 hours PIC helicopter 500 turbine helicopter hours 100 hours unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided night and 100 hours NVG NVG qualified or eligible Body weight not to exceed 235 pounds Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated internal and external customer service skills Pre Employment Requirements Ability to pass a pre placement physical and functional capacity exam including lifting up to 100 pounds Drug screening and background check Schedule & Location Requirements Seven days on and seven days off rotation Schedule rotation may be required Must reside within a one hour commute of the Sierra Vista, Arizona base Additional Notes Relocation assistance may be available Use of relocation package requires a two year service commitment Aircraft transition training may require a one year service commitment Housing is not provided External recruiting may occur concurrently with internal postings Core Values Safety with zero incidents as the only acceptable outcome Efficiency through smart, responsible use of resources Quality through reliable, high performance execution Service to patients, communities, and teammates About STS Technical Services STS Technical Services is a leading provider of workforce solutions across aviation, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, and industrial markets.
