The Project Manager delivers superb customer service while seamlessly executing administrative tasks to ensure clients' analytical needs are met in a timely fashion. The position requires coordination with multiple internal departments and serving as a liaison between GEL and both prospective and existing clients in need of analytical services. Similar to an inside sales representative, the Project Manager handles existing orders while exploring new business opportunities. Industries served include DOE, DOD, radiopharmaceuticals, Nuclear Power (NP), nuclear waste management, local heavy industry, engineering firms, and municipal clients. Physical Requirements and Working Environment: Work is performed in a combination of office, conference, laboratory, and client site environments. The role involves regular presence in laboratory areas with exposure to chemicals, fumes, gases, and odors typical of an analytical laboratory setting. Employees must be able to use standard office and laboratory equipment and maintain the stamina required to sit or stand for extended periods. The position requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds and frequently handle up to 10 pounds.
