The Position
2026 Summer Intern - Discovery Chemistry - Analytical Research Department Summary The Analytical Research group is part of the Discovery Chemistry department in the Drug Discovery organization. Our team focuses on developing structure elucidation, high-throughput purification, and physicochemical screening techniques to support the discovery and development of novel molecules. Our mission is to deliver high-quality analytical data that guide molecular design, process development, and quality control. We apply state-of-the-art techniques-including chromatography, mass spectrometry, and NMR spectroscopy-to elucidate chemical structures, reaction mechanisms, and stability profiles. We are passionate about scientific rigor, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration to bring transformative medicines to patients. This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site. The Opportunity

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location ofCalifornia is $45.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
