Job Description

This position is responsible for coordinating proper training, service and supervision of associates between the Surfcaster Restaurant, Pool Servers, Pool Recreation, Beach Recreation, and Surfcaster To-go and Beach Service. Our Pool & Beach Experience Manager is to deliver prompt, courteous service to associates and guests in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.



Responsibilities

Essential Functions:
To integrate and oversee the Pool, Beach, and Oceanside / Surfcaster Restaurant experiences, ensuring a cohesive, elevated guest journey.

    Seasonal Allocation

    • 75% Pool & Beach Operations (March - October)

    • 25% Oceanside / Surfcaster Restaurant Operations (November - February)

  • Daily Focus

    • Office / Planning: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (extended hours during holidays)

    • Pool Deck / Beach Presence: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. greeting guests, resolving concerns, coordinating accommodations, and creating memorable guest experiences

Pool & Beach Experience Leadership
  • Oversee the full guest experience while visiting the Pool and Beach; follow up on guest opportunities as needed

  • Communicate and coordinate openly between Recreation and Surfcaster / Food & Beverage teams

  • Lead and support day-to-day operations for:

    • AM and PM Pool & Beach Attendants

    • Pool Servers

    • Surfcaster Restaurant - Pool Service

    • Surfcaster To-Go

  • Ensure training, service standards, SOPs, and Omni culture are consistently implemented across all teams

Operations & Guest Experience Oversight
  • Oversee Pool Experiences, including:

    • Pool seating

    • Towels

    • Cabanas

    • Luxury chairs

  • Oversee Beach Experiences, including:

    • Beach cabanas

    • Elite seating

    • Chairs and umbrellas (sales and service)

  • Attend department meetings and communicate pertinent information to associates and leaders

  • Assist as acting Surfcaster Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed

  • Support the craft & activities hut, camp room, and group recreation operations as needed

Leadership, Culture & Performance

  • Set performance standards through Moments of Service

Administrative, Systems & Financial Responsibilities
  • Maintain SOP and MOS consistency across all applicable teams

  • Conduct and submit weekly MOS audits for departmental consistency

  • Become proficient in POS systems and serve as departmental administrator

  • Utilize BirchStreet, Kronos, and related systems as required

  • Apply business acumen to drive revenue and develop new programming and rental opportunities

  • Assist in developing long-range departmental plans, including:

    • Pool & Beach cabana experiences with food and beverage offerings

    • Beach reservation processes



Qualifications

  • Must have previous experience in a similar role. Previous hospitality, recreation experience strongly preferred. Previous leadership experience required.
  • Bachelors degree in Recreation, Tourism or Hospitality strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to operate golf cart safely on beach and around resort.
  • Must be able to operate company motor vehicle in accordance with company motor vehicle standards
  • Must be over the age of 21, have a Georgia or Florida license in good standing, no previous histories of license suspensions or DUIs/DWIs
  • Able to work in outdoor environment in varying weather conditions to include sun, rain, varying temperatures, humidity, etc.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs unassisted and repeatedly / up to 100 lbs unassisted and occasionally.
  • Must be able to squat, bend, stand for long periods of time while setting up cabanas, beach chairs, umbrellas and assisting guests.
