We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to facilitate the creation and maintenance of Engineering Product Data (3D models, drawings and BOMs) at Bruker AXS LLC located in Kirkland Washington. The Mechanical Designer role involves working closely with R&D Scientists and Manufacturing Engineers to create CAD models, drawings, and BOMs. You will work throughout the entire product lifecycle, supporting research projects and prototypes through to initial production release, and executing design changes during assembly/integration/test and post-delivery. The The Bruker AXS-EM division in Kirkland, WA is expected to grow very fast and the focus of this role is to prepare the Engineering Product Data needed to support scaling of production as we grow into a new manufacturing facility. This role will report into the Operations Team. Responsibilities * Create new mechanical part and assembly models in SolidWorks following direction of R&D Scientists and Manufacturing Engineers. Qualifications * Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD), or related field. Preferred Qualifications At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $86,000 and $153,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
