Assistant Operator (Operator I) Location: Arlington, TX Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts, overtime as needed) Join Pregis and help us protect what matters! We're looking for a motivated Operator I (Assistant Operator) to support our production team in delivering high-quality packaging solutions. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to grow your technical and leadership skills, this is the role for you. What You'll Do Operate and set up full converting lines and finishing equipment to meet quality and productivity standards. Ensure jobs run smoothly by reading job tickets, verifying components, and resolving issues quickly. Perform minor mechanical adjustments and maintain accurate job counts. Train team members when needed and promote a positive, safety-first culture. Keep work areas clean and organized according to Pregis SOPs. What We're Looking For Experience: 5-7 years in a manufacturing or converting environment (or equivalent education/experience). Education: High School Diploma or GED. Strong technical skills with press controls, splicer, gluer, label applicators, and tension systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in warm, humid conditions.
