The Electrician position is responsible for conducting maintenance and repairs of instrumentation, automation, electrical and related systems. This position reports to the Electrical Foreman. This position resides at the St. Rose Terminal, but is also responsible for duties at the Avondale terminal. Responsibilities
Electrical maintenance and repairs New electrical construction Perform work orders Troubleshoot instrumentation, automation and electrical issues
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to learn and adapt in a growing and changing environment Working knowledge of both high and low voltage systems as well as basic knowledge of instrumentation and automation Terminal maintenance experience Instrumentation and automation skills Knowledge of pump motors, VFD's, actuators and radars, transformers and control valve Ability to read and program logic in PLC's Valid Driver's License TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credentials) for access to IMTT's terminal locations.

Hours of Work
Typical hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This position requires overtime and occasional weekend work as job duties demand. Occasional travel may be necessary, sometimes with little or no advance notice.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Because the facility and adjoining facilities handle hazardous materials, the employee must be able to ingress and egress in foreseeable emergencies. The applicant must be able to work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others. This would require the ability to lift to 25 pounds, bend, stand, or stoop, as necessary. Ability to perform climbing, bending, stooping,kneelingand moderate lifting. Must be able to work in confined spaces, overwaterand not be afraid of heights. The large scale of the operation and the extensive layout of the facility require that the employee can walk and stand on uneven terrain, to climb stairs and ladders, and traverse inclines: uphill, downhill or mixed. Must be able to work in a confined space, work over water, climb stairs and not be afraid of heights. Must be capable of wearing respirator and/or other PPE during some operations or emergencies.
