Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid - 3 days on-site)

About the Role: Our client, a leading private equity firm, is seeking a Senior Associate to join its investment team in Philadelphia. This position offers the opportunity to work across all stages of the investment lifecycle-from evaluating new opportunities to driving value creation within portfolio companies. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal Evaluation:
    • Perform in-depth financial modeling, market research, and competitive analysis to assess potential investments.
    • Lead due diligence efforts, including operational and strategic reviews, to support informed decision-making.
  • Transaction Execution:
    • Contribute to deal structuring and negotiations, collaborating with legal and financial advisors.
    • Develop investment theses and prepare materials for investment committee presentations.
    • Portfolio Management:
      • Partner with senior professionals and management teams to implement growth strategies and operational improvements.
      • Monitor financial performance and support initiatives that enhance long-term value creation.
        Qualifications:
        • 4-6+ years in investment banking or management consulting, plus prior private equity exposure.
        • Advanced financial modeling, analytical capabilities, and problem-solving expertise.
        • Familiarity with sectors such as Industrial Technology, Medical Devices & Life Sciences, or Consumer & Food Manufacturing.
        • Strong academic record; MBA from a top-tier program preferred.
        • Soft Excellent communication, leadership, and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
        • Demonstrated passion for investing and business transformation; ties to the Philadelphia area are a plus.
