Current Need

McKesson is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Process Excellence.

The Senior Manager of Business Process Excellence will lead initiatives to optimize operational processes and drive organizational change. This role focuses on designing and implementing sustainable process improvements, managing change across complex environments, and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate combines expertise in process reengineering with strong change management capabilities to foster adoption and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute change management strategies for enterprise-wide initiatives.

  • Create frameworks for stakeholder engagement, communication, and training to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.

  • Monitor and measure change impact, adjusting plans as needed for successful implementation.

  • Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

  • Design and implement repeatable, scalable, and measurable process improvements using best practices and benchmarking.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process changes align with organizational goals.

  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to track process performance and change adoption.

  • Provide timely, accurate reports to senior leadership on operational health and improvement initiatives.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement culture.

  • Lead cross-functional teams through complex change initiatives, ensuring accountability and alignment.

Education & Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related scientific field or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.

Critical Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business process improvement, operations, or a related field, with at least 1 year in a leadership or senior role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex projects.

  • Experience working within the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or a highly regulated industry is highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucid chart) and data analysis tools.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Working Conditions

  • Must have ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

  • This is a Hybrid-Remote role - 11800 Weston Parkway, Cary, NC 27513.

  • Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted - This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$103,400 - $172,300
