The Director, Interoperability Vendor Partner Management, leads strategy and relationship management with external interoperability vendors: (EHR/EMR) vendors, LIS partners, HIE partners. This leader owns assessing the EHR/EMR market space and developing partner personalized vendor engagement strategies to increase integration quality, manage utilization, and increase opportunities for Quest solutions enabling increased utilization, driving revenue, and delivering improved provider and patient experiences. Position may work hybrid in one of our following locations: Addison, TX; Tampa, FL; Lenexa, KS; Schaumburg, IL. PayRange: $150K-$190K + 20% AIP Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, whereapplicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation. Responsibilities:
- Strategic leader for interoperability vendors and partnership
- Partner with internal stakeholders across Quest to identify local and broad opportunities to enhance offerings and differentiate solutions via vendor partner integrations.
- Own strategy for partner agreements driving Quest's access to solutions, differentiation, overall provider and patient experiences, in balance with total delivery costs.
- Creates and prioritizes requirements to the external Interoperability Vendors teams to meet the evolving Quest Diagnostics and industry business requirements
- Influences external interoperability vendors to develop and implement solutions to improve Quest business operations (e.g. Clean Orders, Data Access, Failed Orders, Advanced Beneficiary Notice)
- Lead partnership between the business and vendors to identify opportunities to apply new technologies that support the business strategy
- Drive communication with vendors to enhance/adopt functionality that benefits company synergies
- Identify and track interoperability vendor business metrics to ensure business objectives and identify opportunities.
- Lead forums engaging internal customers to exchange information, ideas, issues, and concerns regarding managed interoperability vendors.
- Present interface capabilities and limitations to current and prospective vendors as needed including onsite visits.
- Leads collaboration with commercial team (e.g. Connectivity Account Managers) to ensure proper technical and integration information on our external interoperability vendor is being communicated to our customers.
- Escalation owner for EMR Implementations.
- Provide appropriate support for escalated vendor driven issues.
- Creates strategic plan for the interoperability vendor they manage to increase quality, improve customer experience, manage utilization and increase revenues and profits
- Meets with external customers to drive growth
- Lead vendor partner strategy presentations with Interoperability and Executive Leadership.
- Presents at interoperability user conferences
Qualifications:
Required WorkExperience:
- 8 or more years in strategic partner management.
- 5 or more years focus on interoperability and / or healthcare focused partnerships
Preferred Work Experience:
- Experience in partner management in a lab setting.
