The Operating Technician Pre Batch Operator is responsible for the pre-batching of packaging blend products and the staging of products for blended orders. This role will support warehouse, manufacturing and quality departments as well as assist resin when needed.

Day Shift: 6:30 am to 6:30 pm - 4 on and 4 off Rotating Shift Schedule

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and vendors.


  • Gather and prepare necessary materials and tools for blending and rack such movements of materials manually or by use of PDI gun/entry into Inventory system
  • Upon completion of a batch, pre batcher will work closely with batch maker to understand what needs to get returned to the racks and pre batcher will put all materials back into storage locations and once again track and enter all bin movements.
  • Will work with blend operators and supervisors when a raw material request form is filled out.
  • When staging raw materials, FIFO is expected to be followed 100% of the time.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work environment clean and organized daily.
  • Ensure that PIT's when not in use, are being properly charged at a proper PIT charging station.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and security.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Identify potential obsolete/damaged material and handle per established policy/procedures.
  • Assist in the daily cleanup of lab, warehouse, yard, canopy, and other manufacturing areas.
  • Assist with physical inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment [for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts, etc.]
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience monitoring gauges, dials, or other machinery indicators to ensure proper operation of machinery
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
