In this role you will provide full-spectrum Systems Engineer Support to Attack Systems Division (WID) within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.

This position is at the government-site only.

Essential Job Functions:

You will translate FMS user requirements into system requirements. These requirements will be used by the weapon system contractor to design, develop, fabricate, test, and evaluate systems, subsystems, and equipment for deployment.

You will assist in performing technical/mission analyses of operational requirements, assist in developing system concepts, and perform technological/trade-off study assessments of proposed designs.

You will assist with the processes for drafting project documentation. This includes Statements of Objectives (SOOs), Statements of Work (SOWs), program plans, schedules, and presentations. You will assist in reviewing and analyzing technical proposals or modifications for cost, design feasibility, and system compatibility.

You will provide rapid response engineering service and support as augmentation to organic resources. This includes in-depth problem identification, impact assessment, and development of corrective actions for critical supportability problems.

You will assist in reviewing Contractor documents and data and providing comments. You will also assist test teams in developing test requirements and reviewing test plans.

You will assist in supporting and conducting engineering performance, effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, cost-performance, life-cycle cost, producibility, maintainability, supportability, reliability, technical/schedule risk assessment, and scheduling trade-off studies.

You will assist in evaluating systems test plans (such as systems test plans/test and evaluation master plans) and participate in conducting system, subsystem, and

component testing. You will provide systems/subsystems integration support for the acquisition, development, and verification of systems and equipment.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

An ABET- accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Systems) plus 12 years of experience, or Master's Degree plus 10 years of experience is required. Five of the years' experience must be in the DoD.

Active Secret security clearance.
