The USC School of Pharmacy is accepting applications for a Director of Pharmacy Services at USC Pharmacy and Wellness Center located in South Los Angeles. The Director is responsible for the operation of Pharmacy Services as they relate to dispensing of medications and managing the clinical services. The Director will be responsible for strategic planning, day-to-day operations, pharmaceutical care, clinical and distributive services, financial management, and personnel management. This individual will strategically lead pharmacy operations, including development of quality initiatives and maintenance of financial integrity of the pharmacy. Must have the ability to leverage leadership experience to drive pharmacy growth and standardize practices to increase efficiencies. Essential in this role is building collaborative relationships with physicians and nursing staff, while educating staff pharmacists to promote greater clinical effectiveness. Additionally, the director will represent Pharmacy in relationships with on-site clinic as well as clinics located in the community. Essential to the role will be knowledge and understanding of third-party claims billing, particularly rules and requirements for Medicare Part B DMEPOS and Medi-Cal. The Director of Pharmacy Services will also serve as the Pharmacist-In-Charge, being responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. Required Credentials:

The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000.
