In this role, you will provide key data management and analytics capabilities to the Pricing and Packaging team. You will be defining and building a reporting capability and providing valuable insights to support critical pricing and go-to-market decisions The candidate must be comfortable in an agile team while collaborating with many departments and stakeholders to solve shared business problems. The candidate must be a self-starter, multi-tasker and work well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints. Successful individuals in this role will crave empowerment and ownership, have exceptionally high intellectual curiosity, can unwind complex situations and develop a storyline with clear messages and recommendations. Build new capabilities, improve the ability to visualize complex problems, tell a better story with the data to drive better decision making Main Duties: * Organize to process data, automate reports, build models, establish repeatable metric-based reporting * Work with pricing and data analytics team to conceptualize and develop ad hoc reports and alerts, and identify areas of commercial opportunity * Support critical go-to-market pricing and price management processes, better enabling our continued business model transition * Analyze data and derive insights that will inform revenue management practices, pricing strategy, and other business decisions * Collaborate with our data scientist to establish and maintain measurement infrastructure * Developing and maintaining a robust dashboard and reporting environment Qualifications & Skillset: * Strong excel skills including knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, and knowledge of macros preferred. Working with large amounts of data from various sources * Power BI and other reporting packages a very strong plus. Visualization or deal-management/assessment, Examples include: pricing waterfalls, scatterplots, time series analysis, corridor analysis, variance and realization rates * Crisp attention to detail and the ability to manage multi-step process validations * Ability to learn, adapt, and process * Demonstrated skill in the ability to manage multiple requests at the same time in a seamless manner * Good oral and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to execute and prioritize * Ability to multi-task and prioritize work across multiple product lines, geographies, and channels * Demonstrated skills in understanding and correcting data discrepancies, identifying data anomalies, and root cause analysis * High interpersonal orientation with desire to spend significant time interacting with others. Must have strong sense of urgency PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated average hourly rate for this position is $32/hour. This rate reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's major, degree currently being pursued and location.
