Job Summary
This role reports to the VP, Commercial Operations and is responsible for executing the company's strategy of providing solutions for growth across our portfolio of products through existing and new channels of distribution. The Sr. Director of Category Management works cross functionally with Product, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain/Operations, Business Insights and Marketing teams to execute product priorities and drive mutual growth for Dorman and our customers. The Sr. Director of Category Management leads a team of Category Directors and Managers who are the go-to-market experts for their assigned categories and work to surface and execute the largest organizational product opportunities through understanding of the product category value proposition and market competition. This role will drive leadership, focus and excellence in execution across our commercial priorities and continue to shape and refine our commercial strategy based on changing market conditions and customer needs. Additionally, this role is a highly visible role that will assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the VP, Commercial Operations for additional career development and acceleration. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $181,300 to $274,300. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate. As a Dorman US contributor, you (and eligible dependents, as applicable) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid time off (sick/vacation), and Paid Parental Leave. U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and paid time off starting in their first year of employment, depending on hire date.
