As a Technical Project Manager, you will guide product development programs from concept to manufacturing release, collaborating globally to ensure product success. This is an opportunity to influence global product strategy, drive meaningful technical innovation, and deliver products that meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability-all while applying the principles of Principled Based Management (PBM) to create longterm value.

The Molex Industrial Solutions Business Unit (ISBU) is a dynamic and growth-focused team dedicated to delivering innovative industrial connectivity and electronic solutions. We provide state-of-the-art industrial connectivity products and solutions, designed to meet complex and mission-critical applications. We serve a broad range of sectors including manufacturing, transportation, energy, and infrastructure, empowering customers with reliable and scalable solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Lead product development projects from concept through production release.
  • Drive adherence to Product Development Process (PDP), ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as UL/CSA/IEC, VDA6.3, and IATF16949.
  • Build and maintain project schedules, milestones, resource allocations, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate crossdiscipline engineering work (mechanical, electrical, materials, manufacturing, testing).
  • Guide design activities including prototyping, DFM/DFA reviews, verification testing, and reliability qualification.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Product Management, Sales, and global engineering centers.
  • Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications.
  • Drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and lessonslearned initiatives.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • PMP, Six Sigma, or Agile/Scrum certification.
  • Proven experience leading complex engineering development projects.
  • Experience in electromechanical product development.
  • Experience with PLM, ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills in a global environment.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 20% of the time

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Engineering Management.
  • Background in industrial interconnects, automation connectivity, or power/electrical systems.
  • Experience with CAD (NX preferred)


For this role, we anticipate paying $100,000 - $150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
