JOB TYPEClassification: Exempt Supervises Positions: JOB SUMMARYManage the operation and effectiveness in Radiology imaging services, Diagnostic X-Ray, CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, clinical standards, clinical competencies, and protocols. Responsibility in PET depending on location. QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Radiologic Technologists. Bachelor's Degree in health-related field or Business degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Radiology experience. Minimum of 3 years of management/supervisory experience. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details. Licensure: ARRT, RDMS, or CNMT register required. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Thorough knowledge of principles of radiology imaging. Considerable knowledge of radiology procedures and patient preps, state and federal regulations and general safety requirements. Skill in data analysis, organization, and presentation. Knowledge of policies and procedures, computer/information systems, equipment used in performing assigned duties, application of safety and infection control policies and procedures. Possesses abilities in team building, decision making, and conflict management. Adapts procedures, protocols, techniques, and equipment to meet special needs. Ability to network and recruit to gain new talent for the Centers. Ability to manage departmental operations and provide support. Ability to work effectively with radiologists, referring providers, administration, and other departmental managers. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A Competencies

PHYSICAL DEMANDSPhysical Demand Code: Medium to Heavy Physical Demand: The job requires constant standing, frequently walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs. For any weight over 35 lbs., use Safe Handling Equipment.
