Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Site investigation and characterization including groundwater well installation, soil, surface water, and groundwater sampling; drilling and contractor oversight; and remediation treatment system operation and maintenance;
  • Chemical data and contaminant fate & transport evaluation;
  • Engineering support, cost estimation, design calculations, and construction oversight;
  • Environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permitting;
  • Civil/infrastructure design and site layout;
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analysis and modeling;
  • Erosion and sediment control design and NPDES compliance;
  • Data analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures; and
  • Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.
  • Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.


Education and Licensure

  • Bachelor's degree in geology or environmental, civil, or chemical engineering. (required)
  • Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)


Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years prior internship experience and/or experience with a civil contractor or civil/environmental consulting firm or equivalent combination of education and related experience. (required)
  • Modeling experience (e.g., EPA-NET/SWMM, MODFLOW, HEC-RAS) (required).
  • Experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD (required)
  • Experience performing hydrologic/hydraulic analyses and designing stormwater infrastructure. (preferred)
  • Regular field work and overnight travel. (required)
  • Willingness to complete Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required)
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
