Location: McKinney, TX

Pay: $18 - $20/hr.

Schedule: Day Shift | 8 AM - 5 pM

Key Duties:

• Approve and process sales orders submitted via the website and the inside sales teams.
• Create and issue purchase orders to vendors for drop ship orders.
• Create and issue picking tickets to the warehouse for orders shipping from inventory.
• Input confirmed ship dates from vendors into NetSuite.
• Create and schedule shipments for LTL freight orders when applicable.
• Fulfill both inventory and drop ship orders by entering tracking information into NetSuite.
• Maintain an accurate account of open orders, including statuses and estimated ship dates.
• Proactively follow-up with vendors on open orders that are beyond the confirmed/estimated ship dates.
• Proactively notify customers about backorders or other order delays.
• Address Customer Service-related inquiries via phone and email, including but not limited to order statuses, order updates/cancellations, shipment reroute requests, and invoice requests.
• Address and process Return Material Authorization (RMA) requests with customers and vendors.
• Address and process Damage Reports with customers, vendors, and carriers.
• Coordinate with other departments (sales, warehouse, accounting) as needed to best serve our customers.
• Answer phones; either address customer service-related inquiries, or transfer calls to the sales team/individuals as needed.
• Respond to all customer inquiries quickly and appropriately.
• Other duties/projects as deemed applicable.

Qualifications

• 2 years of warehouse clerk experience in the logistics industry.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer literacy, specifically in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills.
