CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced and collaborative HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources Team in Indianapolis, IN; Columbus, OH; Tampa, FL; or Wilmington, DE. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, helping align people strategies with business goals while fostering an engaged, productive, and compliant workplace. You'll be a key partner in supporting our teams, strengthening our culture, and driving sustainable growth.



What You'll Do:

    Act as a trusted consultant and coach to leaders, aligning HR strategies with business objectives
  • Partner with HR colleagues to analyze trends and metrics, developing proactive solutions, programs, and policies
  • Support workforce planning, team restructures, and succession planning initiatives
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough, objective investigations as needed
  • Provide handson guidance for performance management, employee development, and corrective actions
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, partnering with legal counsel when necessary
  • Build strong relationships across teams to enhance engagement, morale, retention, and productivity
  • Interpret and provide guidance on HR policies and practices
  • Identify training and development needs, supporting both individual growth and organizational capability
  • Contribute to a positive employee experience while serving as a change agent across the business


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and relevant HR industry experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a progressive HR role supporting managers and resolving employee relations issues
  • Broad working knowledge across key HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, compensation practices, diversity, and employment law
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Confidence, professionalism, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • A passion for continuous improvement and staying current on HR best practices and trends
  • Ability to travel occasionally as business needs dictate

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $110,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
