What you will do:

The Business Development Manager - Vehicle Systemsis responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships across our Vehicle Suppressionbusiness portfolio. Key customers include major OEMs, Channel Partners, and other Industry Leaders. This role focuses on developing and maintaining long-term relationships with these accounts, understanding their business needs, and delivering tailored solutions that drive mutual success.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in major account sales, account management, and strategic planning. This position reports to the Director of Business Development & Strategic Accounts for the Americas.

How you will do it:

  • Account Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact.

  • Strategic Planning:Create and execute account strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth.

  • Revenue Generation:Identify new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products or services to existing accounts.

  • Customer Engagement:Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication, problem-solving, and value delivery

  • Negotiation & Contract Management:Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and renewals to maximize profitability

  • Market & Competitive Analysis:Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities

  • Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to enhance customer experience

  • Reporting & Forecasting:Track and report key metrics, including revenue growth, pipeline development, and customer retention rates

What we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or business development

  • Experience working in Fire Suppression Industry is strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and account planning

  • Demonstrated success in managing and expanding strategic accounts

  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (SalesForce)

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $97,000 - 134,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
