The Research Data Associate plays a vital role in supporting clinical trials, studies, and general research activities under direct supervision. This position works closely with the Infectious Diseases Division Program Director, the Vaccine Center Medical Director, center faculty, and staffsuch as managers, research nursing teams, regulatory personnel, and other NYU Langone Health departments as required. Interactions may also involve patients, their families, and community partners. The role demands strong communication and organizational skills, familiarity with medical research processes, and a commitment to patient care and the communities served. Based at the NYULH Manhattan Vaccine Center, the Research Data Associate will collaborate with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team from NYU Langone Health and NYU Grossman School of Medicine. This team focuses on advancing clinical research to develop new treatments for infectious diseases and deepen the understanding of immunity. Their expanding research portfolio bridges the clinic and laboratory, encompassing vaccine clinical trials and translational studies of immune responses to pathogens and vaccines. Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in science, public health, health education, or a related field Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $29.56 - $29.70 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
