SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our global accounting team. This role will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting recognition processes in compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and Ind AS, supporting India, Singapore and China entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical accounting background, experience with multi-entity consolidations, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Scope of work:

Month-end close

  • Review and post monthly transaction in MIS and handle all closing process along with quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Prepare and review monthly revenue journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.
  • Well versed with prepaid/accrued and other timely recording of transactions
  • Cashflow management

Audit and compliance

  • Assist with external audits and tax-related matters, providing documentation and analysis as needed.
  • Finalization of financial statements standalone and consolidation
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on the company's recognition policies
  • Preparation of accounting memo, looking into litigation matters and handling departmental needs
  • Create an effective internal controls system over recognition and related processes

Collaboration with business

  • Collaboration with operations department for revenue documentation for DM analysis
  • Collaboration for AR recognition

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA or CA Intermediate preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of Ind AS, GST, Audit and compliance
  • Experience working in a multinational environment and with multi-currency transactions.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP By design, Tally ERP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
