Security Officer - Full Time Overnight

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Desk in WEST POINT, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and attention to detail support a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the facility.
• Document observations and incidents according to company and site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to address questions regarding access control policies.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to support security-related objectives and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
