Description

The Network Engineer role is responsible fordesigning, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the company's enterprise network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, scalability, and availability. This includes managing network hardware, software, security controls, and communication links across corporate and distribution center environments. The role requires senior-level troubleshooting capabilities, proactive infrastructure improvements, and close collaboration with IT leadership and cross-functional teams in a 24x7x365 environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN network solutions aligned with business and security requirements.
  • Administer, configure, and optimize next-generation firewalls and UTM security platforms, including policy management, segmentation, and access controls.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and security; troubleshoot and resolve complex network and connectivity issues.
  • Assess, review, and configure Layer 3 routing, IP transit, and remote access technologies.
  • Implement and maintain Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
  • Support and integrate network infrastructure with server, storage, and hypervisor-based environments across Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Maintain and update network hardware, software, and firmware to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, architectural diagrams, and network documentation.
  • Provide escalation and operational support in a 24x7x365 environment.
  • Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required.
  • Masters degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in network engineering is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project) is required.
  • Strong collaboration, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proven influence skills, both verbally and via presentations.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and prepare documents such as instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to work individually, both in-person and remotely, with non-technical personnel to implement and troubleshoot day-to-day support issues.
  • Methodical and organized approach to problem solving and a scientific approach to capacity planning.
  • Performs job responsibilities in a Respectful, Empowered, Accountable, and Dedicated fashion.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners.
  • Ability to communicate complicated information to others.
  • Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • A methodical and organized approach to problem-solving.
  • The work performed is in an office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Employee is occasionally exposed to vibration and dust.

Salary: $125,000.00 - $132,000.00
