Job Description:
The IT Project Manager will support two key projects:
First Project:

• The purpose of this project is to upgrade our current Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to the latest available version (AnyDoc). OCR software is used to manually scan invoices submitted by vendors when Ariba is not utilized. These invoices come via electronic and snail mail.
• The currently deployed version is sorely in need of an upgrade. It is incompatible with the current standard Windows version (version 11), as we are still on a Windows 7 environment. This leads to potential security issues. The current OCR version also has functional limitations that will be addressed with the upgrade, such as the inability to scan email attachments directly into Maximo.
• Not doing this upgrade will result in a continued exposure to security issues, as well as potential support issues regarding the outdated operating system.

• The purpose of this project is to design and implement an updated, supported, infrastructure environment for the Caseworks application that better supports current and future business needs. As part of this initiative, Case Coordinators will also be equipped with a new and enhanced Case Agent Tool that improves usability, efficiency, and overall case management effectiveness.
• Risks of Inaction: Currently, the Caseworks application is hosted on SharePoint 2016 on-prem, for which Microsoft product support is ending in July of 2026. As a result, the Regulatory Planning group faces a significant risk of losing a supported and reliable platform to file and track regulatory rate case filings. Without timely migration to the Sharepoint Subscription model, Caseworks will become unsupported, increasing exposure to security vulnerabilities, performance issues, and potential disruption to critical regulatory operations.
