This role offers an exciting opportunity to dive deep into the technical design process, from initial development through to final fit. You will be at the forefront of product realization, collaborating closely with design teams to translate creative concepts into tangible, high-quality garments. Your work will involve analyzing and evaluating products, developing precise fit specifications, and communicating these effectively to manufacturing partners. This is a chance to truly own the fit and comfort of products, ensuring they not only meet design intent but also adhere to established quality and cost parameters.

**What you'll do:**

* Execute the technical design process from initial development to final fit, acting as a key individual contributor.

* Analyze and evaluate garments to develop accurate fit specifications that align with brand standards.

* Ensure products are developed consistently with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications.

* Develop comprehensive technical specifications and communicate fit requirements, approvals, and corrections to vendors and factories.

* Collaborate with factories to make appropriate adjustments, ensuring the integrity of design-approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted pricing.

* Own the fit and comfort of products, working closely with design teams to ensure design intent is met while upholding the company's fit, comfort, and quality standards.

* Participate in regular product fittings and collaborative meetings, providing expert advice and follow-ups pertaining to technical design aspects.

**What you'll bring:**

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Fashion or equivalent practical experience.

* 2-3 years of dedicated experience in technical design.

* Demonstrated flexibility and strong problem-solving abilities.

* A supportive and collaborative approach to teamwork.

* The ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in fast-paced or stressful situations.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Experience in technical design specifically related to plus-size garments.
