As a Security Guard - Shopping Center Patrol Driver in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your presence and exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment for all visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious behaviors or activities in and around the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with team members and site management regarding security-related matters.
• Support the enforcement of location policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
