Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct armed patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating with staff and visitors. This is an armed post requiring a high level of professionalism and commitment.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, adapting to the unique needs of an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report observations to the appropriate personnel to help to deter unauthorized access or incidents.
  • Support access control measures, including verifying credentials and managing entry points in accordance with site protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
