As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a utility location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols, primarily by driving, to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding as appropriate to emergencies at the utilities location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the utilities facility to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate with clients, visitors, and team members to provide information and address inquiries or concerns regarding security-related matters.
• Assist in controlling access to the location and monitoring entry and exit points as part of routine patrols.
• Remain alert to environmental and operational hazards within the utilities environment and promptly report any irregularities or hazards encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
