What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and provide a visible presence.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public to provide assistance and uphold site expectations.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related matters and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
